    Los Angeles Canyon Meet

I saw that invite, but can't make it. I also thought we were looking at Newcombs for the friday am meetup with that group, which I could do... but I'll say if we do ACH on a Sunday, better to do it early. It gets very crowded up there after 9am. Or down for Malibu again too.

    Wind noise at ~70+ MPH

He said they added some kind of extra padding/cushion/weatherstripping. I do hear a very tiny slight noise still above 70 still… going to have them recheck next time I have to take it in.

I4 - car revs "high" and sudden "launching/sudden thursting" in low gear

I4 owner here and I've experienced the same thing a handful of times too.

Finally have it and it's incredible!

Congrats! Where in LA are you? I have the I4 auto and it's been really great in the crappy 405/101 traffic I'm in everyday. Was worried at first it was going to be too firm/harsh a ride, but the car is so tight it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Coming from LC500 as my daily...

Thanks for this thread. Installed my Uniden R7 today w/wiretap, no problems.

I4 owners with exhaust valve controller? I'm getting CEL

Still working on it actually. I took it to the dealer to see if indeed it was something else, but they got three codes for exhaust controller. So GRP said it must be a defective controller, although it works fine. I need to take it off and then take it back to the dealer to confirm no more...

Quick detailing sprays for black pack areas

I use this or Simple Green for the calipers... gets all the dried caked brake dust off.

Quick detailing sprays for black pack areas

I've tried every brand, shape and size of detail spray... Optimum No Rinse is now the only thing I use. Dilute it with water, put it in spray bottle or pump sprayer. I have a bottle in every car for bird bombs or gas fillup spray, etc.
