Very good video, they brought out some key differences that go beyond just the engine choice. They make a lot of sense. Only thing I can think that would make it better would have been if they were both on the same suspension setup.
Obviously, it would be nice to know what was added/changed to the software to make the Emira Carb compliant. My thought was, it would just be good to have the software as it was designed originally. To do this properly, I'm sure it would require that Lotus make the changes and have them support...
I like the concept of trying to replicate the wheels in that Lotus drawing. I wonder though if they would/could have the same look based on how they need to fit. Of the wheels you have pictured, I think the Vossen wheels are closer, however the spokes of the wheels in the drawing are wider...
Oil change, and Transmission fluid change at my local Indy. Amsoil Signature Series and Redline GL4. $437 total labor with tax, $165 for oil $240 for Transmission. I supplied the products. I feel the shift is smoother now but need to drive it some more. Dealer wanted $675 for an oil change...
Thanks for the announcement, this looks very encouraging. I did look at your website and Facebook. I'm not quite sure though what you will be offering. I understand (I think) that you will be providing a tune that will be overlaying the factory ECU tune, but for those that are unfamiliar with...
This would be the main reason that I would install the OBD connection. I don't think we know for certain whether installing it would enable an enhanced real-time tune adjustment based on variables that it gathers from the OBD2 information.
I just had the first service completed, all warranty work. They did the A/C fix and a campaign to address water in the charcoal canister where they take it apart and cut the hose to 75MM. No water was found in my canister. They wanted $675 for an oil change, pass.
They also made 7 (maybe 8)...
Just a heads up if you did not see it. There is a small clip that is used to attach the wiring from the start button switch to the shift rod. I'm assuming to keep the wire out of the way of the movement of the shift rods. It is not obvious. You may have unclipped it when you pulled the center...
So, I was reviewing some information on the NTHSB site as I have brought my Emira into the dealer for some updates and just wanted to check if there was anything there, I should inquire about be done, which there really wasn't.
I did find the document below that Lotus had created that...
I've had a wooden shift knob from the Evora special edition on order for about 6 months now from a UK based dealer. Had an update this week that one may be available. I also forwarded the pictures of that new one from the Clark car and the parts place thought they may be able to get one, so they...
Thanks KitKat. My understanding (could be wrong) is that if you have the OBD2 connection installed that the system would/could automatically adjust the tune in real time which I think would be a cool feature. From what you say, you would need to send logs back to Burger for them to make...
Is that wireless kit only used to connect the JB4 to the phone App?
If you purchase the wireless connectivity kit, do you still need to install the OBD2 cable to access that real time feed?
If so, it would be nice if there was a Bluetooth dongle that could connect the JB4 to the Emira OBD2 port.
