If you’ve not had any remedial work done on the VCU under the bonnet, then my guess would be this is a likely culprit, but it’s just a guess based on the association with the AC.

Short answer is very probably. It could mean that Emira may need a slight tweak to the calibration or no changes at all to remain certified. Very good news most likely.

From memory I believe the power steering lines run to the rear on the right hand side and of course there will be hard and flexi brake lines in that area so worth checking these out before you drive anywhere.

I would suggest getting these checked out at the Dealer. There looks to be the outline of a pad (dogleg shape) on one disc indicating the pad has been seized on at some point. That is probably the source of some vibration and could generate squeal. One possible explanation for the wierd line...
