Same feeling here with the switch from Tour to Sports mode. Felt like the beast was unleashed :) I would take it easy though with a sports mode while you're in a break-in period. The manual does indicate that you should stay in Tour mode in the first 1000 miles.

That's a fantastic price! At least here, both Grundy and Hagerty offer reasonable rates as well, but they require the car to be stored in a private garage or storage unit. Unfortunately, they won’t insure a vehicle parked in a condominium garage or similar locations. :/

I think State Farm gave me that $6500 quote. It's a free for all market here... Also depends where you live in the Bay. And... I just checked my quotes again to find out I was wrong... Allstate was the winner here with $9300 for 6 months!! This with zero traffic violations, no insurance...

I did some checking and got offers that vary from $6500 a year to $14,000 a year (no thanks, AAA!). Ended up that GEICO was the most reasonable and wanted about $1500 for 6 months with $500 deductibles and 7k miles a year. For the Bay Area... I guess this is reasonable...

No... and I'm getting increasingly annoyed with Lotus for that extra unnecessary delay and for their lack of communication and transparency.

Maybe I was bad boy this year and Santa's making me pay for it...! I waited patiently over 3 years (!!), but the moment I saw @Nova post my VIN, all that patience flew right out the window! 😂

My car landed with the December 9 shipment, and still didn't arrive to my dealer (California, Bay Area)! Anyone else experiencing similar frustrating delays?

(long time stalker, first time poster :)) I’ve also been stalking the CARB website like it’s my part-time job, and all I see is the V6. I want to believe it’s just outdated info… but after waiting for my i4 since mid-2021 (!!!), my faith in Lotus and its dealers is, um, less than inspiring...
