Just came to see the dragy website thing and it look very interesting.
How big it is ?
Does it need to be mount on the Dashboard with double side tape ?
The car start pushing hard at +or- 5000 RPM. So if we need to shift at lets say 6600-6700rpm to avoid hitting the cut off that is roughly only a 1600-1700rpm powerband zone.
When I had my Exige S300, it was keep pushing from 5800-6000rpm until 8400rpm.
If we could have a 7400 RPM on the Emira...
No and honestly I wont. I know the car was not fast enough when I first bought it but now it is very decent and reasonable. Just miss the 7200-7400 rpm for the thrill noise and stay longer into the powerband zone.
I came around this thread because I was looking for a 100-200 kmh or 62-125mph acceleration time.
I did a pull 110 - 209kmh (68 - 130mph) and I floor it at 13.5 - 14 seconds and hit 208-209kmh at 23 seconds on my video. So the 100-200 can clearly be done between 9 and 10 seconds.
I have the...
Do you know how much boost your car was pushing ?
Mine between 5300 and 6800 RPM is 8.4 9.1 psi of boost.
Do you live at high altitude ?
What was the outside temperature that Day ?
I always found +95hp was too good to be true. +50-75HP is what I was looking for but your result is a cold...
I have a GRP 3rd cat delete , milltek valve controller and K&N air filter element drop in.
The speedometer clauster is so slow to react and it is even worse now that the car is climbing in rpm faster that I hit the cutoff even before it shows to shift as a redline indicator into the dash.
I did my first launch with the JB4 on map2, everything went well. No broken Axel 😬. A smooth start, not agressive enough to break a time record but fast enough to be able to enjoy the push of the car.
I did not had to remove the spark plug on my Emira yet but my Exige had the BOE torque300 tune receipe and I used quality reputed brand octane booster for 10+ years with good results but it was not amsoil at that time. Same story with my tuned FRS with ecutek software my ignition advance timing...
