i was told this when my doors were being done back in Feb this year, my dealer Bell and Colvile kicked up such a fuss that Lotus backed down but by that point my doors were done and i had the car back already as B&C had picked up my car and i had use of another.
thanks so much for that, its exactly the kind of response i was looking for and kind of where my head is at. Ive just been spoiled by the Emira i guess.
Hey All,
My Nimbus V6 Emira will be 3yrs old in April next year, ive had the doors replaced due to the blistering and other than a few software updates its been pretty rock solid. I still love the car but im wary of keeping it past the warranty period coming up in April.
I saw a Frozen...
keyless entry is walking upto the car doing nothing other than having the key in your pocket and being able to open the car, at least in the UK thats my experience on previous cars ive had.
Whomever did your service will have a record of the software version. Revert back to normal unleaded is what I had to do until mine had the update around march this year.
my car has all available software updates on its recent 2nd service a few weeks ago and now the cold start issues using 97/98 RON fuels has not reoccured in two fill ups and around 4 cold starts.
i had exactly this and a recent software update in August improved it for me, still wouldnt say it starts with the gusto you would expect but it doesnt stall anymore.
