    Seat belt cover falls off

I bought a couple of spare ones (about £3 each + delivery) with the intention of modifying them to allow the clips to engage properly. On studying them I realised that there are two small reinforcing webs that stop the clips from clicking home. As said above, by pressing down hard towards the...

🏆 EPOTM Contest October 2025 - Emira Photo of the Month starts now!

Great photo with the twisty road in the background. What was it like parking that close to the edge? Looks too close for comfort for me!

Gear shifting - issue remains after plate adjustment

I've done two "Taste of Lotus" driving experiences where you drive their Emiras on the Hethel test track. The one last year had Emiras that had definitely seen better days and had been used hard around the track for some time. The one this year had all new Emiras that looked hardly used. In...

Mine is slightly notchy 1 to 2 and 3 to 2 when cold but is much better once warmed up. I've made no adjustments to the plate.

    Battery charging

You can set alerts on the App by going to Settings and then Alerts. Press the + icon and fill in the fields and Alert type etc. I found it easier to do it on the Lotus Scorpion Track website though. Go to the top round world icon on the left, Vehicle Management, and then Alerts, then Create...

    Dashcam for the Emira

It's mounted on the UK driver's side of the rear view mirror. It's as high and to the left as I could get it. This makes it easy to press the Save button (the ! in the triangle) when you want to save the current recording segment. It doesn't get in the way of my view and as I usually drive with...

    Battery charging

The Lotus Scorpion Tracker shows you the battery voltage. You can even set it to send you an alert/email when the voltage gets too low.

Best to fit leads to the battery for your charger. Here's a good thread to read: https://www.emiraforum.com/threads/fitting-a-battery-conditioner-dos-and-donts.2419/

    Purchase Research - SO72PZL

As it's coming up for its 3rd birthday on the 23rd November 2025 the manufactures warranty will be finishing. The 12 months warranty you would be getting must be from the dealer? I would check exactly what that covers for peace of mind. For the age of the car 3,000 miles is low for a normal...

UK Emira i4 on eBay for Breaking - Might be Useful.

If you mean the right hand side (the driver's side in the UK) then yes. Wondering whether it was a demo car on loan gone wrong or someone's new car that they lost control of due to lack of experience. Or I suppose someone else just drove into it

UK Emira i4 on eBay for Breaking - Might be Useful.

Only 303 miles, I wonder what the story is behind that one?

What things annoy you on Emira?

It would be interesting to know how they resolve this, i.e. is it software or hardware they change or update and is it something the USA cars can have done.
