I've looked at that advert for ages. I wondered why only 64 miles until I saw the warranty info in the handbook stating that it doesn't start until the car has covered 65 miles. Except that at least one of the other trigger points must be active now.

Ah, in that case I can't compare it to my V6 as far as build date is concerned. It could also be built in 2024 : ) If you really want to know phone Lotus Customer Services and ask them. I did this for mine last year.

That's the model year, same as on my VIN, but my car was actually built early November 2023. Model and build years aren't necessarily the same. Is it a V6 or a Turbo? If a V6 what are the last 4 digits? Higher or lower than 0850?

I've had my "We hope you've enjoyed the first year with your Emira" email survey. The text has changed and by the looks of it so has the survey questions as the time to complete has gone up. I've had some not happy moments but also some outstandingly good moments. I think I was fair in my answers.

We don't have these decals with the manufacture date on UK cars. Customer services told me my manufacturer date. There are also date codes on some parts that can give a very rough timeframe, for example my front cover/bonnet was made the month before my car.

Just checked mine. No wear after 7,000 miles. The buttons don't look like they would either, very glossy. I think they would get more scratched without the cover. For me these cases are not just for protecting the fob from scratches they are for keeping from breaking if you drop them, as they...

I use Autoglym Rapid Detailer spray and a soft cloth and a soft brush for the extra stubborn bits.
