    Help with CEL P2CEF code

Thanks for your reply, no hard evidence in a Mercedes powered Emira. You could also assume a bunch of faulty thermostats. From what I see in this thread, there is no confirmed fix, with at least 1000 miles and no engine light. Could be chasing windmills. Neil

    Help with CEL P2CEF code

Are you all 100% sure that P2CEF is related to a sand left in the casting issue ?

    OEM style MadTrace magnetic shifter

Do you think these would fit with the madtrace clubsport magnetic. I estimate just over 200 mm long ? I find them nicer than the flat carbon pieces. Neil

📓 Journals Observations on i4 re round trip to South of France

Nice report, re in car sat is excellent giving distance to next fuel station (better than Waze or google) but as you say no speed limit display, or speed warnings as on Waze. ( maybe that si why Waze are a Le Mans Partner) With you for the rest. Neil

Plastic panel trim on the side of the base of the seat keeps popping off

The metal reinforcing is my addition, the original are just moulded abs, and not too good mechanically.

Plastic panel trim on the side of the base of the seat keeps popping off

Deja vu. The top fitting is very poor, I have reinforced mine with some brazing rod and epoxy. Also to avoid a fit the is too tight, the metal tongue on the seat can be teased out a little. The repair is 100 % invisible and much stronger than the original. Spare part is cheap, but will no doubt...
