Just plug it in and away you go. I don’t believe there are any sensors that far back on the exhaust system that would throw a code due to the controller being installed.

All Elmira’s have a 3rd cat. However, it would seem that deleting in the UK does not contravene our emissions regs. Lotus fit the 3rd cat to satisfy all markets. I assume our friends over in the US would not be able to delete the 3rd cat, at least in some states.

Have the dealer check with the factory before they replace the O2 sensors. They should have on record the fix for my car, which they should at least try.

It took a while, but we got there. A Lotus engineer from the factory eventually located a faulty connector somewhere on the loom. This was enough to fool the ECU into calculating an O2 sensor issue, which then threw up the engine light. I’m happy that Lotus found the issue, so they can knowledge...
