on Amazon you can buy a Tesla key fob attachment. it consists of thin cord that attaches to Lotus key and a ring on the other end. I use it and so far so good.

GRP makes a USA license plate mount that attaches under the front spoiler so that you dont have to drill holes in the bodywork.

i have the same problem i took it to my dealer in california USA and they told me Lotus will not fix the problem. they said Lotus thinks the rear hatch is properly aligned, so they wont allow the dealer to do work on the rear hatch. i dont believe water should drip into the engine compaertment...

the oem mount is screwed into the front bumper. there is a company called greg's race parts that makes a bracket that screws in under the bumper using existing bolts, so you dont have to drill into the body work.
