Great story, what fantastic memories for you and your son. I too am enamored with my 2025 Emira in Vivid Red! Having come from the Porsche world, a 2023 992 GTS. The Lotus has proved to be the most fun of the over 50 cars I have owned! Cheers!

My dealer is 2 hours away in Scottsdale, so I do my own maintenance unless it’s something serious. The oil change, 3rd cat delete and controller, and addition of Hertz, A-pillar tweeters, were all easy. 2,200 miles, zero problems, and a smile on my face every time I drive it.

I sold my PDK 2023, 992 GTS, to buy a Emira 6-speed. Although the Porsche was fast, the manual Emira puts a smile on my face every time I drive it! With 2,200 trouble free miles, I’m am extremely happy!

Painted my Supercharger Cover. I used Dupli-Color with Ceramic hi temperature enamel, three coated, then block sanded the Lotus letters.

Purchased a set of Hertz c26 tweeters off eBay to upgrade my KEF audio. I read everyone’s comments on properly wiring them into the system. I did mine for under $100. Everything is available on Amazon. You really do need to raise the car on the air to facilitate the job.

Just finished adding Hertz tweeters, but broke one of those pesky A-piller fasteners that are so hard to get off! Does anyone have the part number for that clip? I need to buy another. The fasteners are easy to break and actually are only a one time fastener, as it gets stretched out or breaks...
