My family had an '03 3.0L Z3 in Dakar Yellow when I was in high school. At the time, to me, few things were cooler—so much fun. We later had a Merlot Red 3.0L Z4 ('05?) - and while it was an objectively better car, it was less fun. I miss both cars.
I got out of my Emira V6 FE slot several...
Hi all,
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we likely can't go through with purchasing the V6 6-speed Emira that I've put a deposit on. As such, I wanted to see if there was interest before posting more broadly. In terms of price, my goal is to simply cover my costs -- no additional markup as I...
I'm conflicted - I ordered DV + silver wheels + yellow calipers - and they appear to clash with the Lotus yellow. Best to have the clashing colors, go with red, silver, ____? I wish Lotus would match their yellow...
Completely understood where you're coming from - however, if you want a stick V6, you kind of just have to believe in the process and keep your fingers crossed. That's what I'm doing. And, worst case, you can always sell it if it's not a fit.
Make sure to spend time in the interior of the Roma before pulling the trigger. My understanding is that most of the buttons are capacitive (not physical) which, in my experience, is both inconvenient and borderline dangerous to use while driving. I replaced the PCM in my 997 S with a Pioneer...

Team: excited to be here, learn more, and hopefully purchase the Emira when the local dealer calls my number.
Background: New York-based lifelong car nut, first time [potential] Lotus owner. I currently have a Porsche 997S and a BMW M235i (daily), and've had several other fun cars (Ferrari 360...
I've seen similar numbers thrown around on the Lotus Emira Owner's Facebook group (which is how I found this forum) - though I believe someone stated that 500 were coming stateside in year one. I assume that no one really knows the numbers just yet - including Lotus - due to the overwhelmingly...
I can't remember where the dimensions were posted, but I do remember that the trunk (per that source) was ~20% larger than my Porsche 997's frunk. Which is more than large enough for a weekend getaway with my wife. And apparently there's room behind the seats, too (?).
