police (CHP in LA), cars who may be going faster that want to pass in the canyons, checking on cars behind when in groups, people are generally crazy in LA and drive on your bumper and wont be seen in the side mirrors...list goes on, yeah maybe just you (!) for me it's mostly scanning for CHP...

They're shipping the test ones out in a couple weeks...it should work like any other mirror kit it's more just making sure the refresh rate is what they claim and that it's the mirror I see in OEM cars, if so this will be great

I'm pretty sure this is the exact unit you saw in your friend's Escalade, it's also in the fancy Alphard vans in Asia they use for car service - I think it's the clarity and high frame rate that looks great and natural. Hope it's the same quality will definitely update once installed -
