Worst case, we just do a buddy system where someone in the left drive market takes off their mirror and swaps with someone in a right hand side drive market...seems plausible ?

Mine isn't mechanical like you are suggesting, mine is just the car's electrical system (probably can-bus) waking up and sending a zing through the subwoofer - I have a JL Audio sub so it's quite boomy and doesn't happen all the time. Lotus.

Oh after seeing that photo, yes patch and you're definitely fine. Better yet ask for a plug from inside and then patch over...overkill and worth it.

The alternator will do tiny bits of charge when you lift throttle (just momentarily) and under braking for a little bit. Every 4th, 5th? drive cycle the battery regardless of the state of charge will charge in all driving conditions. I have to look at my SOC and voltage logs but basically an AGM...

They will work just put on tender, but it won't work like standard battery that recharges when you drive, it will always be on the bare limit of having charge and cause some CEL eventually - but for a track car just keep it plugged in all fine. And yes any lithium since they are higher voltage...

This is off topic but many posts you can find, basically the I4 Mercedes alternator will not properly charge a lithium battery because the voltage is too high for it to trigger the alternator logic, it is looking for low AGM voltage. It won't even charge the stock AGM battery till it dips below...

Also just making sure everyone knows these I4 rear wheels would need a 10mm spacer to fit like the stock V6 wheels on a V6, 64 vs 54. The fronts are the same on both platforms. I'm using the GRP 12mm spacers on my i4 to get them nice and flush. If you have a V6 and using the spacers on the rear...
