All good buddy.
So weird this KEF thing isn't it. Like who signed it off originally? Can't imagine KEF wanted their reputation tainted. But who tested it?
Like who signed off the wipers in the Emira?
Like who signed off no sun visors in my Exige V6 CUP?
Like who signed off the gear shift...
Hmm good question. Mine didn't pop every single time I opened the door but I certainly haven't noticed a single one since the re-flash.
So very curious to know what they have done!!
Can only tell you what I am hearing.
And I'm quite into my hi-fi - I have Quad and Marantz and KEF gear at home so it is not like IDGAF
See what you think when you get it done.
Well it appears I have a timely response to the above given that I have just driven for around an hour, often deliberately with both windows down (for testing purposes not to sound like a gangster).
They HAVE fixed this issue. No idea how. With windows down my sub no longer completely cr@ps...
I briefly tried it with window down and I thought it was better, but will have another go when this bl@@dy rain stops!!
I would say the improvement in in the detail and warmth in the mid and high ranges - the sub is still not great.
Ok so my car just back from 3rd service and had 8 updates of which one is specifically listed as 'audio'.

Now, fingers crossed it lasts as previous experience is that...
So I have noticed something!!
I stream my sounds on spotify and if I am streaming new stuff the system can sound very weak indeed, the other day I struggled to get any volume out of it and the quality was absolutely dire. But if I play my 'liked' songs which presumably are in the library the...
Have just bought a used earlier model seasucker rack off ebay so we shall see.
Next question is whether best to stick it on the roof or all 4 suckers on the tailgate glass so that the skis are sat on the tailgate (reminds me of that James Bond Esprit moment) .... the tailgate glass gets pretty...
Anyone comsidered a preventative appoach to this? My car is an early one - Delivery December 2022 and used as a daily drive and I do not have any paint blisters (tempts fate). My car is Hethel Yellow. As I would rather not have my car re-painted if the blisters do arise would a solution be to...
Skis on Emira?
So the Emira takes on Alps Taxi duties from the 911 this year and I need to figure out the best way to carry up to 3 pairs of skis on it, as securelyas possible in order to 'make progress' through the night on the autoroutes.
Any suggestions?
