According to Lotus, the car's computers aren't starting fast enough causing the delay. Dealer actually has 2 loaners, 1 of which has the same symptom, other does not. According to the exchanges between dealer and lotus they are working on figuring it out. No solve for now.

As an update, car's been at dealer for a week now, they are communicating with Lotus to get some sort of solution as they have the same issue with one of their demo's. I think they were asking for fuel pressure numbers. My rep basically said computer on their end shows absolutely nothing wrong...

Man I feel like that was solved for a bit thru some update either phone/car and now its back and intermmitent as ever. drives me crazy

I just dropped off at dealer for inspection on issue, they are investingating it, mine would take 2-3 seconds usually and up to 5 seconds every once in a while, its just not quite right. Will post update on what Lotus says

Happy to report same thing, wireless AA has been a lot better now after infotainment update at dealer w/ service

I had this same issue, an update to the infotainment has removed these disconnects quite a bit, probably 90% less, be sure to check next service Congrats on the purchase!

Hey, I purchased my Lotus from Star Motor cars but live in Conroe, let me know when the service department opens up and potential costs associated with first service if possible, also would be great to know if there will be loaners provided as well. Maybe we can DM details or get contact info

Audio quality will be highly subjective in most instances, I haven't found much complaint in the KEF system, I wouldn't think its the best out there but do not think it's bad quality by any means. I had an update from the dealer on nav system and it seems way better, still happens on occasion but definitely an upgrade. as a failsafe a wired connection will never disconnect in case anybody has a pet peeve as I did.

I have completely turned of wireless so the cable connection is definitely superior, but I hate how audio always defaults to radio
