    USA & Canada pricing

A bit cynical perhaps, but I honestly think Lotus just doesn't care. I don't say that in a bitter way, but more in a practical way tbh. Canada is prob double-digit, maybe on a good year triple-digit, Lotus sales a year at most. So I think naturally it's an afterthought... more like, "well...

I received confirmation of my $2500 deposit return/credit today. Really too bad, I was #16 on my closest dealer's list. But like many here I just could not accept Lotus USA's pricing insult. Thinking I'll keep my eyes open for a clean used Evora 400. Good idea? Bad idea?

I'm not arguing about whether the car is worth $143k out the door or not (for me it's not) but there is no denying re the numbers that CDNs are getting shafted on the pricing relative to other markets, esp when compared to other upper-end "fun" cars. Expectations aside.... imo charging more...

Well you can maybe save yourself $4k+ because if you can buy one in CAN for the quoted US $ pricing it comes to approx $116k CDN. ;)

So with desirable (to me anyway) options , approx CDN$122.6k Add est of perhaps $2.5k delivery/fees? ON tax 13% QC tax 14.975% Total out the door, $141.3k ON / $143.8k QC Ouch.

    USA & Canada pricing

Well, I guess one more plus for the people that do stick it out and buy one.... it'll be all the more rare to see one in Canada now that so many people are heading for the EXIT. I may order a C8 and wait... while waiting I'll buy a '13-15' Evo X for $30k for a "winter car" and to beat on - and...

I know it's not apples to apples , but for an example.... '21 TTRS in USA US$72.5k '21 TTRS in Canada CDN$78.9k A reasonable (imo) example of the market realities of the different countries. For me the FE should have hit $103k - $105k CDN to be sensible.

    USA & Canada pricing

Crap... If this is accurate then I'm out -I'm #16 at Lotus Montreal. It looks like Lotus USA just converted to CDN $ and called it a day - either not understanding CDN market differences (I mean come on, we only get to drive the damn thing 7 months out of the year in many areas) or just not...
