has anyone noticed this issues in abroad or is this a u.s. specific issue?

I have found corrosion issues on the intake manifold of u.s. units. has this been an issue abroad? I am trying to determine if this is a shipment, storage, or manufacturing issue.

I'm here in the states and test drove a new emira and noticed oxidation on the aluminum intake manifold. does anyone have this issue abroad? I am wondering if it is from shipment or storage here. this was an issue on all of the units present.
