Only for the i4. The V6 runs a nice standard operating alternator compliments of Toyota and can run a lithium battery like most cars with zero issues.

Actually my dealer and everyone else I've talked to in So Cal, the exhaust valve re-calibration has been done complimentary if you were there for service. I got it done with my oil and bunch of software updates.
