Interesting to know .... the odd thing is, it doesnt do this in any other car I own or have access to.

I have had a lot of CarPlay bricking issues with many phones ... out of interest what apps are you using when it bricks? I currently havent had it brick in a month - the fix for me was to not use Google Maps (I have no idea why). Since switching to Apple Maps its works flawlessly.

I have this - drives me nuts!!!!!!! I have fiddled with the volumes for months to no avail! As you say in other cars it isnt an issue Praying someone has a fix.

Coming from the UK, we get pretty excited when we spot a C8 in the US (as we dont get them here!). But you're right — there are quite a few around, my son's camera role can attest to that 🤣

The only way I got this to work was to stop using Google Maps - Apple Maps never kills it, who knows 🤣

Just to update for those who helped me with this ... it ended up being some kind of clip that had fallen off/broken/failed rather than a power steering pump failure. I shall continue to monitor the level carefully for the next few months

I have still been having constant issues with my iPhone 13. I have since tried my wife's iPhone 13 and an old iPhone 11 that I had laying about and they have worked faultlessly albeit only two journeys. I have a few more trips over the next few days so will see if it still continues to...

These are priced reasonably!!!! Pretty much every colour combo someone could want! This would have been an unreal place to go and look at when choosing colour!!! :)

Yep 100% power streering related as fluid below the low level. Into Lotus it goes!

Had a journey this week and struggled to get into first and second for a 75 mile journey - it came and went but was “interesting”. I panicked thinking I’d got some horrific issue, followed this and hey presto it’s all sorted. My adjustment nut was VERY loose!

Is it true to check the PS level you need to remove the rear wheel liner!

Oil level checked and not an issue - also am I the only on in the UK without a full handbook? Did you guys all get one?
