    Paint blistering issue update

    Here's the blistering on my trunk lid. V6 FE part of first wave of US Deliveries. They have since receded and are flush but you can still see where they are if you look closely. I dont have pics of that yet.

    True on timing, but, better cooling could allow it to stay in a more aggressive part of the factory tune more consistently. Cooler charge temps cannot hurt.

    I think it manipulates the MAP and MAF sensors on the V6 to make the car run at a more aggressive timing map on the factory tune or if the car is using a torque based tune then its manipulating those sensors so it allows a more aggressive torque setting.     I think this car needs 5-6K for a real launch really depends on the grip of the tires. 4K is very likely not enough but I was at the limit of the axle to hold it because of whatever defect or weakness there is.

    In my case I think just swapping the axle makes sense. Warranty work could get held up and if I had an axle on hand I could be back at testing this thing today easy. Let me go to Autozone and see if they have them 🤓
