Yes, via CANBUS. I can turn the ignition on and fire the engine up, but if I don't put in my code, when I try to put it in to gear, the engine stalls immediately.

I've just had the Ghost2 installed on my V6 Manual FE Edition. Still working things out, but all seems to be working. Engineer putting it in was hesitant at first because he thought they'd only done the i4 Auto, but after checking back with base, he was fine to go ahead.

I use multi-story car-parks in High Wycombe (e.g. Wycombe Swan) that are very tight and the google reviews even mention this. They're some of the tightest I've experienced. I wouldn't take my GTR in there, but the Emira is fine although I still wince when I go round the corners. Ramps are fine...

I got full car PPF done through a local 3rd party to me, amazing job. Cost about £5k. I got it done independently because Lotus told me they no longer offered it as an option. Both my cars have PPF now, no regrets.

Mine's going in to the dealer workshop on Friday 19th April and Lotus HQ Customer Services have confirmed that the part has been sent out. So, fingers crossed by May this will be a solved problem!

I'm sure there's a reasonable complex process and it will take some time to re-engineering the part and get it out to the dealers. What irritates me though is the complete lack of transparency or any form of communication. All I want is a bit of information from them that shows things are moving...

My Emira was due in to Silverstone to replace the resistor pack next week (w/c 11th March '24). Got a call from Silverstone today saying that they had not been able to get hold of the part from Lotus so my booking was being shifted in to April when they hoped they might have the part. Me too. I've just swapped my rear-window rear camera for the plug-in rear camera and am wondering how to make it work. Currently I'm considering buying a different make that will work on the rear window; either Blackvue or Thinkware, but if there's a way to make this work, it'd be better to go...

The camera attaches to its mounting via a magnet. The mounting assumes the rear window it attaches to is sloping. If the mount is attached to a vertical window and the camera then added to the mount the camera will just point downwards at about a 45deg angle at the engine itself which is no use...
