Major quality failures / concerns on early 3.5 MT Emiras?

Do the early 6MT have issues with engine / trans... they can. Test drive it. If you sense any issues with power at any point of the rev range or any resistance getting into gears, specifically R/1/2, then walk away. Unfortunately there is so little OBD2 compatibility, I can't recommend taking...

Ferrari 488 pista vs Emira V6

Taking this Q way too seriously as I've been shopping this market and my 296 is arriving in a few days. Exterior: Though the Emira has the more 458-F8 body shape, the 296 I think is actually much more comparable as it shrunk in length moving from the V8 to a V6. Exterior styling is very...

Should I Lemon Law my Emira? My Emira timeline

Looking at this again, I'm not sure if you have a case, and you should consult an attorney. As mentioned this is state specific, I think you're looking at TX as that's where your service center is/was. Googling, for a non-safety, warrantied defect you need to give the dealer 4 times to try to...

Should I Lemon Law my Emira? My Emira timeline

    A. Have all of your service documents scanned. They must contain in and out dates. B. Consult a lemon law lawyer local to the state where you would file a case. Each state has different rules. C. Expect the process to be a black hole and take way longer than you want it to. D. Yes, it's...

    Toyota Gazoo Racing GR GT

It looks like a video game car to me, and I appreciate that. I'd expect base corvette lap times, but sitting so far back with such a long hood is going to be a challenge. I don't expect it to feel great, but I'm super happy Toyota is trying.

    Track Cars & Brake Issues

Am going to bet that your rotors are warped, or at least warp at temp. I had a similar issue happening with the stock pads, where they pulsed once hot, then when cool felt normal again. I think the rotors have a design or manufacture issue where they don't expand properly when heated. Would...

    Slight right pull under acceleration

For all those with issues, note there are different alignment specs per tire, and from factory, though my suspension was in tolerance it wasn't spot on. Tiny changes on this car makes a large difference in handling. Have your alignments checked.

FS: Jubu Ohlins, Brake disks, cooling kit, GRP short shift, wheel studs, Aerie tow hook, steering wheel buttons

Bumping w/updated prices for parts. In addition I have the Jubu seat belt bar. Haven't priced out, but will consider offers.

    What's in your toolbox?

A phone, a charger for that phone, the number of a tow truck, a small adjustable wrench to apply some torque to the tow hook and keys to another car. These car's aren't really roadside serviceable. The Torx to get into the frunk is in the took kit. If you get a flat, maybe a tire repair kit...

Tires for everyday driving - Lots of miles

If you want tires that last a while, Michelin AS4. The wear on that series of tires is fantastic, and as a bonus it'll cut down road noise quite a bit. From a grip standpoint... less... but they let off at limit predictably.

FS: Jubu Ohlins, Brake disks, cooling kit, GRP short shift, wheel studs, Aerie tow hook, steering wheel buttons

Steering wheel buttons sold. Adjusted language to "Tow Strap". Fair point.

FS: Jubu Ohlins, Brake disks, cooling kit, GRP short shift, wheel studs, Aerie tow hook, steering wheel buttons

Confusion over the cooling kit. It is the water pump pulley and thermostat. Not the ducting for the brakes. I did have those but they are pretty beat up and wouldn't want to ship bad parts out.
