I've done many Lotus meets and was a founding member of BoLOCs oh so many years ago. That died a death after about 10years, but was fun whilst it lasted

I thought all software updates were free whilst in Warranty. After the warranty expires, enhancement updates would cost, "required" updates would remain free Are Lotus changing their minds on this too ala the Paint warranty

What implications do the Tillet seats have with insurance in general? The lose of airbags, must make it a declarable item to the insurance company.

Was there not a comment from someone else recently about the inaccuracy of the dashboard oil level indicator? Thought the owner discussed this with a dealer and the dealers comment was to use something else to indicate accurate oil level. Unfortunately I cannot remember what that alternate...

Waze and Car are about 2mph out, with the car giving the higher speed. At slow speeds i.e. less than 40mph, the difference is just 1mph. Not sure which is the correct one, but if I had to guess, its likely Waze

I'd get that to a dealer. Reading your post on Pistonheads too, just sounds a dangerous position to be in.

I gave up and just keep the Garage door opener fob in the car. Was told that to fix it, I needed to spend about £150 on some additional receiver for the Door electrics.

Went for a 200 miles early morning/late morning drive. Early morning, lovely, little traffic, could give it some beans. Late morning, lots of traffic, not so much fun Then got home and spent 2hrs washing it(I hate that part). Tucked away in the garage now, as off across the pond for a long holiday.

I'm amazed Lotus just havent thrown the whole thing to Teijin. "Your screw up, your fix. Until it is fixed the costs are all yours. " I'm sure there are some discussions like that going on, but Lotus would do well to make sure their customers knew what was going on Oh hang on, thats Customer...
