The motor is strong. I have made 600whp turbocharging them (in Toyota MR2s). But MR2's have a much stronger five speed manual that dates back to WRC level homologation stuff.

It has been a week and zero replies from any vender claiming to have a tune for the Emira V6 ecu.

Removing the the third cat adds ZERO horsepower. I dyno tested theat myself on two different Emiras.

Today I emailed four or five companies that promise a flash tune. Mainly I was asking them what their tune changes: timing, air fuel, throttle mapping, vvti, rev limiter, etc. I'll update when (and if) I get any replies.

I'm late to this and it might have already been said, but the "jump" at 4000rpm is not from any of the intakes, that is the ECU coming out of closed loop (which is a too lean for best power fuel condition).

You can get 2/3rds of this intake power gain by removing the gauze off the front of the stock air filter. Dyno tested and confirmed on two Emira's so far. Zero. Same for deleting the entire muffler. That actually lost power on mine. Aaron ATS Racing and Exotics

Thanks. I was just thinking about this. If Lotus is planning to use the dealer demo Eletre’s to offset the emissions of the Emira, they have to transfer ownership of each Eletre to to the dealer for it to count as a sale. So what did they do with the dealer demo Emiras? Are they still on exempt...

HiTech Motorcars in Austin. I knew a new Lotus was eventually coming. I think I referred to it as a Type 131 in my first emails to them.

I put my deposit down on 4/29/2021, so I am rapidly approaching a three year wait. This is a MAJOR MAJOR purchase for me and it's has been a total disappointment, but I guess you guys already know that.

I suspect the CARB emissions standards have tightened since then.
