I received the call yesterday. They told me 'by summer next year'. I was also offered an invitation to a Lotus event as a consolation prize. I asked whether it would be possible to get a refund even if my spec is locked and they said yes. Waiting to see how it goes for the time being.

A V8 Vantage. Took my Emira test drive today at Lotus Silverstone which was excellent. But I have to say it really didn't show up the Vantage either: getting back into it after the test drive it felt as good as ever. Just the view in the side mirror doesn't come close to the Emira.

I can't find any information either way on this. CarPlay is definitely supported, but it's a very messy solution to run AA within AA've just for an app or two. I can certainly see the reason people would though, if a certain app isn't provided.

Correct, this is based on the Lynk&Co infotainment system, it will almost certainly have OTA updates. These aren't always a good thing though as it gives manufacturers the flexibility to release extremely buggy software that's eventually patched later on. I did sit in the Seneca blue show car...
