Interesting. I had posted on another thread addressing some race issues, and just received a reply indicating that this is done to balance the disc from the factory. Never noticed this on any other car before but it does make some sense.

Looks like Lotus shipped as many Emiras as they possibly could before tariffs go into effect. 368 cars arrived between the 17th, 25th and 30th of March! By VIN, looks like mine made it in on the 30th and cleared customs on the 31st. Hope everyone gets their cars soon!

Looks that way! Got the VIN update a few minutes ago…. Unfortunately, I don’t know if I will be able to pick it up until early May because of work schedules and out of town commitments, but at least it’s here! Plus, that gives me time to have them get a PPF wrap and window tint.
