Like I said, each to their own it is subjective of course.
But tacky to my mind is not what I want from this car. It doesn’t need to pretend to be something it’s not
For me it’s wrong, it looks like an imitation of a superior brand. Tacky is the word I’d use.
That said it’s subjective and completely down to the individual
Well, the V6 rumour was made up and it is still peddled. I was at the factory two weeks ago and saw them being built.
I’m not going to reveal my source and you don’t have to believe me that’s fine.
But if you could do me the courtesy of acknowledging when it is announced in the next 2/3...
The next car that is due soon (Emira R) will be based on the 4 cylinder.
Remains to be seen one they do with the V6, personally I’m happy with the power for what I use it for it’s perfect.
Sound needs to be better but hoping to sort that.
I think they’ll bottom out for a bit personally. Long term i4 will continue to drop, V6 MT will be more likely to hold especially as it’s unlikely to continue in the long run
Welcome! I used to work in Matlock and from Chesterfield but moved to Manchester. Some nice roads near you. Enjoy the car, lucky having two Lotus in the garage. I got mine today and have a similar thing with not letting go of the 911. Really enjoying the Emira so far and hope you are too.
It needs action, it’s a known problem and customers have been short changed when changes to paint warranty. Owners deserve to know that it will need looked after for a reasonable period beyond 3 years to protect resale and outlay.
