Ceramic should be applied after PPF.

All new cars will have paint flaws... some minor and some pretty significant in one form or another. It literally just takes the dealer washing it with an everyday sponge and drying it once with a towel to ruin the clear coat requiring at least light polishing. You don't want to apply PPF or...

I did full front and high impact areas + mirrors PPF. Also paint correction and full ceramic. Total cost was 5k which includes warranty on the work. Dealer had them come there and do all work onsite. Cost was probably about average but it was done from a higher end installer.

Thanks. I guess that I’m more fortunate than I realized. The speck was exactly what I would have ordered with the expection of the tan interior… but I can live with that.

It wasn't my intention to rub anyone the wrong way. I just meant to say that some people are getting cars that others have opted out of at retail pricing. (To be fair, the dealer did originally ask for 10k over. I declined and they then agreed to sell it for the sticker amount).

I got into a Seneca blue FE after inquiring about one month ago at a different dealer (didn't ask but I'm assuming someone backed out). It's sitting on the dealer lot. No upcharge above retail.

I've not been waiting as long as most here; nonetheless this is beyond frustrating. I thought we would at least have an update this week. Worked out a deal and will be trading my 992s for the Emira (for better or worse) and have resisted driving it since then to keep the milage low. Now...

I’m also going to an Emira from a 992 Carrera S. Just felt is was time for something different. The 992 is almost too good in that it just does everything for you and takes away driver involvement at any ‘reasonable’ speed. Also, l prefer the more exotic look of the Emira.
