    Emira v 911 (992T)

That’s the rumour. GT cars not impacted, and maybe also ‘lesser’ cars could also escape hybridisation. Let’s hope it is a trickle down upgrade so the 992.2T escapes it.

    Emira v 911 (992T)

When did your T deposit go in? I think I will be lucky if I get one and don’t want a hybrid. Earlier poster should cancel the T and buy the Emira 😂.

    UK refunds following cancellation

Another with a prompt deposit return here. Replied to one of the generic update emails in the Christmas holiday to cancel , rang in the new year to make sure they had got it and it was credited to my account in 14 days without chasing. And that was with a bit of a backlog. So at least that part...

I'm out - the cancellations thread

My mileage is lower than that! I placed my T deposit last year (sounds good doesn’t it? But it was December….) Every chance I won’t get one from all the speculation around dealers maybe offering the T to stock 922 depositors who have already been waiting for as long as we have with no sign of a...

    New member considering Emira v 911 (992T)

Except it’s a Cayman? No contest there IMO. The Cayman is ugly so the Emira wins all day long.

I'm out - the cancellations thread

A few things really. Fell in love with the car at Goodwood but maybe I’d have been better off not lurking here too often. When I went for my test drive I was desensitised to the ‘wow’ factor of its good looks then ended up in a traffic jam for an hour. So no idea how it drives, really. The...

I'm out - the cancellations thread

Just sent an email to cancel Feb 23 build. Anyone after manual, Seneca, black wheels, sports, black pack, yellow calipers, alcantara may be in for a treat.

What's the appeal? (Emira and Porsche)

I have a similar conundrum although I only recently deposited on the T. The Forever Car thread here adds fuel to the fire. I may end up in the odd position of cancelling and earlier Emira in the hope of a late T before that are sold out.

    Further delays?

But Porsche still ship cars to the dealer with parts missing for the dealer to fit once sourced e.g. Bose.

Boot hatch frame fills with water

So while we are going well and truly off topic, heat aside, can you fit a beer crate in the boot of the car? Considering it for runs to Belgium although it sounds like a crap idea.

    Emira, 718 GTS, 911, A110 comparison

I did a spec a month or so ago then again after my test drive and a few too many T reviews on YouTube. Hit the send to dealer button but likely 2024 delivery. Thinking that this might be my last car. Period. Manual, no rear seats, Gulf blue.

The great big "all the customer test drives" thread

I had my test drive yesterday and two things stick out for me: 1. The sports suspension is super comfy so forget those worries about it being too firm and rattling your teeth out. I’d hate it to be any softer; 2. It did not seem rabidly fast to me. To put it into context my wife’s 718 Boxster...

Porsche announces new manual 911 T, looking pretty comparable to Emira (sub 100k before options)

Got the weekday 40k. Abarth Biposto. And you can get the beer crates in the back on the runs to Belgium!

Porsche announces new manual 911 T, looking pretty comparable to Emira (sub 100k before options)

The only real alternative ad far as I am concerned. At an age where I will never buy an electric car and am wondering whether an Emira or T is the last car I buy. Currently Feb 22 build. Still contemplating a switch to 992 T.
