I received my new Emira from Scottsdale Arizona with this corrosion issue. It's over ALL the aluminum parts of the engine once you get the plastic surround off. My vehicle was delivered in April '25, with an October '24 manufacture date. So it obviously sat for 6 months at seaports, on a ship, and at (presumably) mostly an Arizona dealershio far from the ocean. But this sure looks like salt corrosion. Mine was really bad, and the dealer did an absolute crap job at PDI (lots of other things and even basic requests like please charge the battery were ignored). It took about an hour with a small brush and a can of ACF-50 aluminum protector, but that (hopefully) got the supercharger cover taken care of. All the other engine parts are much harder to get to and I could only do the bits I could reach from the top. Would love to get it up on a lift and get the underside.
